Week 3 Wrap Up & Drink Up

This week has sucked.   Actually, things have sucked since about last Thursday when my computer finally died (hence no Drink Up! post on Saturday).  My computer is back and now so are my posts!

This week:

Sunday - SUPPOSED to be a rest day.  I worked out.  I think I ruined my entire week by doing this....

Monday - Swimming.  No energy. 12 lengths...maybe. Sat in hot tub and bitched about my life.

Tuesday - Awesome 5km run and a great strength work out!

Wednesday - Didn't go swimming, worked out at home and then shared a bottle of Merlot with the husband.

Thursday - Pace run.  It sucked.  I'm disappointed in myself about this.  I was crampy, I had no energy, and my legs felt heavy.  This is my fault.  I'm watching what I eat because I want to lose some weight still and I don't think I'm eating enough.  My legs felt heavy due to strength training.  My body is not used to it and I need to take it easy I think.

Friday - Rest day, but I'm not going to rest.  I'm going to do my long run tonight so I don't have to do it tomorrow.

This Weekend - We are taking our boys to Monster Jam in Edmonton and then to the West Edmonton Mall Water Park!!  I'm super excited!  I'm also going to do a post about this for A Fit Mess in regards to staying on track with your diet while being away from home.  I have good intentions, but I already know that the beer at Rexall Place will ruin it all (in a good way....for my inner alcoholic).

My absolute favorite drink!  These aren't available in Canada so I put in an order with anyone I know that is heading down to the states!  US readers, feel free to send some up my way!!

Kick Ass.

Day 11, Letter K, and almost 5 pounds gone!  I'm kicking ass at my A-Z Commit to be Fit Challenge!!   I'm quite certain that the next 5 pounds are going to be quite a bit tougher than the first 5, but I'm willing to do the work.

No to Negativity.

There's really no other way to describe this week so far than to refer to it as crappy.  It's a crappy week.  We had a ton of snow on the weekend that has decided to stick around ( it's April damn it ....I JUST WANT TO RUN OUTSIDE), I'm in a super bitchy mood, awful things are happening all over the world, my family is coming down with some type of  illness, and I'm losing motivation for both the A-Z Challenge and my Commit to be Fit Challenge.  Everything is just plain crappy. So N is for Negativity.  I feel negative...and crappy.

Good choices.

Happy Monday everyone!  I hope your week is a good one! We're on Letter G for the A-Z Challenge, and my commit to be fit post is about making good choices. Making good choices isn't always easy for me.  Mainly, because I'm usually really drunk and not thinking about what's best for me in the long run. You're probably thinking that I'm talking about making good diet choices and, of course, I am, but they aren't the only choices that need to be made when choosing to live a fit and healthy lifestyle.   Nutrition and diet choices are, actually, probably the easiest of all them all.
