Someone give me a damn trophy already...

'Sup.

I’m a really good drinker.  Like…super good.  If there were awards for good drinkers, I could win some.  Sometimes I think that maybe I should be less of a really good drinker and let someone else get the good drinker awards, but then I think “mmmm….maybe not…I’m pretty good”

Things that make you a good drinker:

Alcohol

Doing cool shit while drunk and/or hungover

Cool shit I can do because I’m a really good drinker:

I win things all the time!  If I’m doing super good at drinking and then decide to get my exercise in and go for a walk, I come back with all sorts of prizes.  One time I won a light-up palm tree!  I didn’t get to keep it though.  Apparently, the neighbors wanted it back.

-          I get medals.  It’s true.  I accidentally drink copious amounts of alcohol at night, wake up, run races, and then at the end they’re all “holy shit, you were SO hungover.  Here’s a medal”

-          I find missing people.  One time Big G was missing from the party.  He was in the hot tub.  I found him!

Drink.

What I drink:

Margaritas

Caesars
(click for my super awesome recipe!)

Red Wine

Beer

Tequila

Errrr.....I gotta go.

So we did something fun!

So we did something super fun and scary last spring... we decided to move to our lake cabin full time !  Ahhh!  It's been very trying and very exciting and I think we're actually settled in out here.  Also, HI!  I know it's only been a short while since I posted last...errr...ok, it's been a year and a half, but priorities, right? So, yeah, downsizing...haha!  In 2 years, we've gone from 3800 square feet of living space to about... 750.  And, you know what? It's totally not all sunshine and rainbows, but it works!  Living at the lake and having all of these amazing trees around us is completely worth it.  The boys have settled into, yet, another new school and this school is the best one yet! Around the end of April last year, I came out to the cabin to clean up our holiday trailer so we could sell it.  I took a break, made a caesar , and sat on the front lawn with Duke in the small bit of sunshine that made its way through the ...

Feel the burn.

B is no longer for beer and I'm sad   I really should have thought this theme through a little bit more.  Words that start with B and are relative to my "commit to fit" challenge aren't the easiest to come by.  I've decided to go with " burn "  because I am already feeling it!! On Saturday I decided to terrorize exercise my core and upper body after my run.  DOMS set in late on Sunday and after an intense work out tonight, I dread laughing.    My commit to be fit challenge will include 3-4 strength training sessions per week in addition to my half marathon training program.  It's time to feel the burn !  Can you feel it?
