Now isn't that funny....

I don't remember starting a blog. I would have never known that I was even in "blogger world" if it weren't for a post I made on CP's blog.

CP made a list of goals for 2011. That's what I posted on. I want to make a list of goals as well. I wonder if it's hard. Here goes....

In 2011 I my goals are:

- to live simpler. Spend less and enjoy what I have!
- to NOT have a birthday party for kids this year. This is part of living simpler. I will instead take my children on a weekend get a way of their choice.
- to not use a credit card that I can't pay off on the same day. Must use PC MC for major purchases so I can obtain uber amounts of PC points and reap the benefits of free groceries, but will pay off on same day.
- run in the Woody's Half Marathon
- to not go in debt for Christmas. Again, part of living simpler.
- pay of $12, 000 boiler bill.....now @ $10,650
- return all rented movies on time and avoid late fees
- to think about effects of potential commitments before committing (why does commitment have one "t", but committing has 2?)
- blog more?!

The end......for now.

So we did something fun!

So we did something super fun and scary last spring... we decided to move to our lake cabin full time !  Ahhh!  It's been very trying and very exciting and I think we're actually settled in out here.  Also, HI!  I know it's only been a short while since I posted last...errr...ok, it's been a year and a half, but priorities, right? So, yeah, downsizing...haha!  In 2 years, we've gone from 3800 square feet of living space to about... 750.  And, you know what? It's totally not all sunshine and rainbows, but it works!  Living at the lake and having all of these amazing trees around us is completely worth it.  The boys have settled into, yet, another new school and this school is the best one yet! Around the end of April last year, I came out to the cabin to clean up our holiday trailer so we could sell it.  I took a break, made a caesar , and sat on the front lawn with Duke in the small bit of sunshine that made its way through the ...

Feel the burn.

B is no longer for beer and I'm sad   I really should have thought this theme through a little bit more.  Words that start with B and are relative to my "commit to fit" challenge aren't the easiest to come by.  I've decided to go with " burn "  because I am already feeling it!! On Saturday I decided to terrorize exercise my core and upper body after my run.  DOMS set in late on Sunday and after an intense work out tonight, I dread laughing.    My commit to be fit challenge will include 3-4 strength training sessions per week in addition to my half marathon training program.  It's time to feel the burn !  Can you feel it?
